Swoyersville Borough Council is accepting applications for the
position of full-time
Street Department laborer.
Work week is 40 hours. Starting salary is $18.00 with no Class B CDL or $20.00 with a Class B CDL. Vacation time, uniforms, sick days, personal days and health insurance, for employee only,
after 90 days; pension plan participation after 6 months.
Applicant must be able to lift a
minimum of 75 pounds.
Successful applicant is subject to background check and
drug/alcohol screening.
Drug/alcohol test results must be received by Borough Manager before employee can begin to work.

Dallas Township is accepting applications from qualified candidates for the full-time position of Secretary/Treasurer. The applicant would be responsible for directing and monitoring the Townships day-to-day financial operations, monitoring the pension plans, maintaining records, preparing meeting minutes, preparing budgets, and assisting the Township Manager. The position involves extensive public and employee contact representing the Township. The work is normally carried out with limited or no supervision with an emphasis on detail. A minimum of a four-year degree in business management, accounting or public administration is required and the candidate should have a proficient level of competency in Word, Excel, QuickBooks, and governmental accounting.
