FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICERS
The Wright Township Police Department is accepting applications for two (2) full-time Police Officers. Applicants must be 21 years of age at the time of appointment, possess a valid Pennsylvania drivers license, have a high school diploma or equivalent, current Act 120 Certification or equivalent (as per MPOETC guidelines), be capable of performing police duties, and be of good moral character.
The 2025 starting salary for Probationary Officers is $66,715, with annual step increases according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Wright Township offers health, vision, and dental insurance along with life insurance, a pension plan, paid vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, longevity pay, uniform allowance, and workers compensation.
Applications can be picked up at the Wright Township Supervisors Office at 321 S. Mountain Blvd, Mountain Top, PA 18707 during business hours, or at the Wright Township Police Department after business hours. The Wright Township Police Department is an accredited agency by the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association.
