Pittston Township is looking to employ a full-time Zoning Officer/Building Code Official. Must be experienced in the area of township zoning enforcement and be able to prepare Building Permits and issue Use & Occupancy Permits consistent with the Pittston Township Zoning Ordinance and the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance. Salary based off experience.
Requirements- Must be knowledgeable in township zoning and code enforcement. Must be Certified as A Building Code Official by the Commonwealth of PA - Dept of Licensing and Inspections. Proficient in use of all Microsoft products. Have knowledge of the International Building Code. Ability to interact with township residents, engineers, contractors and other township officials.
