DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS LABORER
The City of Nanticoke is looking to hire a full-time Laborer for the Public Works Department. Applicant
must have a valid Pennsylvania License and have prior experience operating equipment. Duties include
maintenance of municipal roads, but not limited to patching, including, plowing and salting.
Blacktopping experience, tarring of roads, repairing sewers, parks maintenance, and concrete work.
Mechanical skills is a plus. Candidates must have the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand long
periods of time, walk for long distances and be self motivated. This is a full-time union position. All resumes must be submitted by 3:00PM, Friday, May 9, 2025.
