DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS SUPERVISOR

The Borough of West Pittston. Luzerne County, PA is seeking applications for the position of Full Time Department of Public Works Supervisor. This is a working supervisory position.
Qualified candidates shall meet the minimum requirements of being 18 years old or older, possess a high school diploma or higher degree, have a valid Pennsylvania drivers license, a CDL license, and a safe driving record, experience in municipal government or other public sector management, supervisory skills and management experience, experience in performing road maintenance and snow plowing, experience with building, grounds, and sewer maintenance. Compliance with required recycling and MS4 reports is also required. Candidate shall have a valid Pennsylvania drivers license, as well as a CDL Class B License, and a safe driving record.
Candidates should have basic computer skills and record-keeping skills. Heavy equipment experience common to municipal maintenance is also required. This full-time position pays a salary between $53,000-$60,000 with flexibility based upon experience and knowledge, plus pension, paid holidays, health benefits, and vacations. A Pre-Employment Physical Examination, Drug Testing, and Background Check are required upon an offer of employment and employees will be subject to random drug testing.
