MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS

We are a growing facilities maintenance company looking for qualified part time and full time Maintenance Technicians. Technicians work from home in their own territory. Work orders come in daily and vary in amounts each day. Hours can vary daily, depending on the market area and mileage the tech is to cover. Some work required after store hours (nights). The ideal Technician should have at minimum 3 years experience in the maintenance field and have most tools for small repairs, should have repair skills such as, basic plumbing, basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting (including ballasts), carpentry skills, VCT and ceramic tile repair, wall repair and painting and various other small tasks. Quality and speed of work and responding to calls, is very important.
Technicians should be able to work without supervision. so the Ability to self manage and organize is important. Technicians are on call evenings and weekends for emergencies, although the volume of calls is low. ROTATING Travel area is normally within 60 min most of the time but can go over. Requires valid driver's license, standard tools. Technicians use their own truck or van during the probation period, afterwards a company van can be a possibility. When using a personal van or vehicle (gas & drive time are compensated)as well as a mileage payment.
