Sanitation Workers
Jenkins Township is seeking Full TIme/Part Time Sanitation Workers. Responsibilities include: Collect refuse, recyclables and yard waste from homes in the community. Safely and efficiently dispose of all of the waste that you encounter. Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks. Assist with the processing of refuse, recycling and yard waste at landfills and dumps. Additional public works duties as required to include snow plowing, maintaining roads, cutting grass, etc.
Requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in the refuse industry is preferred. Driver*s License (Class C) and/or CDL. Physical strength and fitness. Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions.
