MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum 21 years of age at time of testing
Must have current PA Drivers License
Must have completed a minimum of a PA State Certified Essentials of Firefighting Course
Firefighter I preferred
Pump Operations I
Emergency Vehicle Operations Course
TEST DATE AND TIME
Completed applications must be
returned to the Newport Township Municipal Building by
Monday July 25, 2022
no later than 3:00pm.

The Written and Physical tests will take place on
Saturday July 30, 2022.
