CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION
SWOYERSVILLE BOROUGH
The Swoyersville Borough Civil Service Commission will be
conducting a civil service
examination on Thursday, June 30, 2022, 6:00 PM at the
Swoyersville Borough Building,
675 Main Street, Swoyersville. The examination will be given to hire
(1) Full Time Police Officer.
Starting salary is $46,499.90.
THERE IS NO COST FOR THE TESTING. APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE
SWOYERSVILLE POLICE DEPT., 1212 MAIN ST.,
SWOYERSVILLE AND THE SWOYERSVILLE MUNICIPAL BUILDING,
675 MAIN ST, SWOYERSVILLE, (MON-FRI 8:30 AM 4:30 PM), FULLY COMPLETED
APPLICATIONS MUST BE
RETURNED TO THE
SWOYERSVILLE POLICE
DEPARTMENT,
1212 MAIN ST, SWOYERSVILLE OR THE
SWOYERSVILLE MUNICIPAL BUILDING,
675 MAIN ST, SWOYERSVILLE (MON-FRI 8:30 AM 4:30 PM) NO LATER THAN 2 PM, JUNE 23, 2022. ANY APPLICANT
RETURNING AN INCOMPLETE APPLICATION WILL NOT BE
ALLOWED TO TEST.
The Swoyersville Borough Civil
Service Commission, Swoyersville Borough Council and Swoyersville Borough employees assume no
responsibility for late applications nor can they extend the deadline for applications that are not received by the deadline specified above.
A copy of the Act 120
certificate, drivers license, and other certifications must be
attached to the application when returned.
Written and oral exams will start JUNE 30, 2022 at 6:00 PM.
All applicants for the position will be required to take part in an Agility Test and Medical and Psychological Exams at a l
ocation chosen by Swoyersville Borough Council. Swoyersville Borough will assume all cost of testing and exams.
