ASSISTANT SOLICTOR
The Board of the Luzerne County Transportation Authority
invites applications from Attorneys with experience in Municipal Authority Law and Public Sector Law to serve as Assistant Solicitor for the Authority.
The Assistant Solicitor will work with the Authority Solicitor and Executive Staff and provide legal services including guidance involving contracts, Federal and State Funding, personnel and labor matters, compliance issues, property and real estate acquisitions, and general
counsel on matters involving the operation of the Authority.
The successful applicant will be offered a contract to provide services as a non-employee, contractor at a rate of compensation not in excess of $25,000.00 without any fringe benefits.
Applicants must be licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
