The Forty Fort Borough Civil Service Commission is accepting applications for the position of FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICER. To apply, you must have a diploma from an accredited high school or a GED, be a US Citizen, and be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a police officer. Prior to receiving a conditional offer of employment, you must have reached your 20th birthday, possess a valid Pennsylvania motor vehicle operators license, and have completed Act 120 training and be eligible for MPOETC certification. Applications are available at the Forty Fort Borough Building, 1271 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, PA 18704, Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM or online at www.fortyfort.org. The Forty Fort Civil Service rules are available for review online or at the borough building. Applications must be returned no later than 2:30 PM on Monday, November 15, 2021, to the Borough Manager or Secretary. A copy of DD214 must be included for Veterans Preference consideration.
