POLICE OFFICER(S)

Pittston Township Board
of Supervisors are seeking
applications for PART TIME police officer(s). Applications can be
obtained from the Pittston
Township Municipal Building,
421 Broad Street, Pittston
Township, PA 18640,
Monday - Friday, between the hours of 8am & 4pm. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age,
a high school graduate, possess
a valid drivers license, and have
a current Act 120 certification from the PA Municipal Police Officers
Education and Training
Commission. Applicants with prior police experience will be given
preference, but law enforcement
experience is not required to apply. Hours of work will depend on the needs of the Township and the availability of the part time officer(s). A review of the applications will be made by the Supervisors
and Chief of Police and selected
applicants will be scheduled for an interview. Background checks and
a Drug Screen will be made by the Township on any applicant
considered for employment.
