position of

FIRE APPARATUS
OPERATOR/MAINTENANCE PERSON
Minimum Qualifications: The minimum qualifications with documentation will include
the following:

1. Firefighter 1 Pro-Board Certification

2. 472 Hazardous Materials Operations with current annual refresher at the time of application.

3. EMR Emergency Medical Responder with PA EMT-B Certification within one Year from the date of hire

4. Apparatus Pump Operations 1 & 2
5. Aerial Apparatus Operations
6. Emergency Vehicle Operations
7. Vehicle Rescue Operations
8. National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) 100-200-700-800
9. Water Rescue Awareness within 6 months from the date of hire
10. High School Diploma or Graduate Equivalence Degree (GED)
11. Citizen of the United States
12. Valid PA Operators License (Minimum Class C)
13. 18 years if age at time of applications
14. Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties as required

15. Applications must have their domicile within the prescribed geographic boundaries of Hanover Township or within six (6) months of hire shall become domiciled within Hanover Township
