Summary:
The Next Generation 911 Manager (NG911), under the direction of the 911 Executive Director analyzes, revises, implements, and maintains Luzerne County 911's Next Generation (NG911) geo-database. Interfaces with other GIS professionals throughout Luzerne County to obtain reference data and ensures 911 dataset accuracy. Performs various GIS mapping duties including, but not limited to; research, integration, plotting 911 standardized addressing descriptions, subdivisions and address assignments, data entry and all necessary mathematics needed to support accurate addressing and computer aided dispatch data in the NG911 environment and networks.
